Mr. Vacura is a thirty plus-year mortgage industry veteran with a proven record of pioneering innovation across capital markets. At Wells Fargo Funding, he led groundbreaking contributions including the PerformanceWorks seller grading program, bid tape AOT loan sale deliveries, and a patented AI machine-learning system for loan-level bid automation. He now brings that deep expertise to his role as President of Agile, where he leads the company’s mission to create a more efficient and transparent MBS market.

At Agile, Mr. Vacura leads with both methodology and mission. Under his leadership, the company has upgraded its TBA Trading and Pooling platforms, introduced live market pricing, and sharpened its development and testing cycles to more efficiently serve the needs of Broker Dealer and Lender clients. The driving philosophy behind these investments is straightforward: by making the trading process smoother, more accurate, and free of unnecessary settlement friction, Agile gives its clients back the time and bandwidth to focus on building relationships rather than managing transactions. He champions a culture of iterative improvement and cross-functional collaboration, developing his teams through trust, accountability, and shared purpose.

Mr. Vacura holds a degree in Business Management from Hamline University and enjoys spending time traveling and outdoors with his wife and three children around their Minnesota home.
